Welcome to the Hamden Economic Development Corporation
The Hamden Economic Development Corporation (HEDC) is an independent, 501(c)(4) Corporation that serves as an additional tool for developing the tax base in Hamden and as an advocate for businesses in Town. The Corporation was formed as part of Hamden's long-range Economic Development Plan and is focused on redevelopment of contaminated or underperforming properties. The Board of Directors is comprised of eleven members, including business, banking, utility and institutional partners.
