BOROUGH496 Announces Three New Members
The Hamden Economic Development Corporation (HEDC) is pleased to announce three new members at BOROUGH496, aka the Hamden Business Incubator.
They are:
1. Nutrition Consulting Services: Co-work Membership
Nutrition Consulting Services provides a wide range of nutrition services, including affordable nutrition counseling and cycle menu development for assisted living, nursing, and group homes.
2. The CT Health Policy Project, Inc.: Co-work Membership
The Connecticut Health Policy Project is a non-profit, non-partisan research and educational organization dedicated to improving access to affordable, quality health care for all Connecticut residents. The Connecticut Health Policy Project believes that empowered, informed consumers are the best engine to improve Connecticut's health care system for all.
3. Davenport Dunbar Home Pantry (Food Bank): Full Membership
Packing and delivering food to the residents living in Hamden. Food is donated through major grocery chains and donated by citizens and distributed through a network of volunteers. “I am pleased to see all three of these members come to BOROUGH496. The times have changed since the inception of BOROUGH496 and we are working to become a resource to the community while serving the economic needs of community residents. Especially during these challenging times, we need to develop partnerships that can work together to rebuild confidence in the community”, stated Dale Kroop, Executive Director of the Hamden Economic Development Corporation.
BOROUGH496 is the Hamden Business Incubator located at 496 Newhall Street (corner of Morse St.). It is founded on four community values of Micro-Enterprise Education, Workforce Development, Community Sustainability and Economic Inclusiveness.
