It is with gratitude and excitement that we would like to announce the sale of the Hamden Business Incubator to ConnCAT (Connecticut Center for Arts & Technology) of New Haven.

The mission of ConnCAT is to inspire, motivate, and prepare youth and adults for educational and career advancement, through after-school arts, and job training programming. ConnCAT will rename the Incubator as the ConnCORP Community Economic Impact Lab which will focus on minority Entrepreneurial Education and Development and Workforce Development.

The closing took place on Apil 28th, 2021. "We would like to thank Mayor Leng, Senator Murphy’s office and in particular Rosa Delauro and her staff for her support to help guide the sale through”, stated Dale Kroop, Executive Director, Hamden Economic Development Corporation.

The proceeds of the sale will be used to retire outstanding project costs and to continue the mission of the Hamden Economic Development Corporation by investing in its operations and potential projects. All current members/tenants of the Hamden Business Incubator will remain.
